BAKEABLE BAKERY
BAKING AND COOKERY
In the bakery and cookery of this work preparation area you will learn how to bake and cook customer orders using a range of catering style appliances. This could be from private customers to supplying our coffee shops The Winking Frog and The Silver Otter. You will help order and replenish food stock whilst learning a range of hospitality and catering skills.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
During customer service you will learn how to take customer orders, give details on pricing and collection of orders.

You will order ingredients from suppliers to make sure the bakery has all the stock to create the orders.
CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENE
In this part of the work preparation learning you will learn the importance of keeping a catering environment clean and hygienic. This will include learning about the standards set by the food standards agency.
